Don’t Trash These Items, Sell Them

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s safe to assume that you’re spending a lot of time at home. While it’s frustrating for all of us, it’s a great time to get things done around your house that you’ve been putting off.

For example, it’s spring cleaning time, so don’t hesitate to get down and dirty. As you make progress, you’ll begin to feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off your shoulders.

While cleaning and organizing your home, it’s easy to get into the habit of trashing anything you no longer use. And while it’s okay to throw out some things, don’t go overboard. There are many items that are better to keep and sell, as opposed to putting on the curb on trash day.

Here are some items that you may want to trash, but can actually be easily sold at a future estate sale:

•    Tools

•    Picture frames

•    Artwork

•    Decorative plates

•    Bicycles (both children and adult)

•    Old newspapers and magazines

•    Lawnmowers

You get the point. Just because you no longer use something doesn’t mean you should toss it out. Collect all the items you think you can sell, and when the time comes, offer them to the public at an estate sale. Who knows how much money you’ll be able to bring in.
