Every estate sale you attend, regardless of the size or the items available, is sure to be exciting on some level. Even if you don’t make a purchase, simply attending an estate sale is enough to put a smile on your face.

With that being said, there is nothing more enjoyable than finding that special item that has been occupying your mind.

Here are three estate sale search tips that will put you on the right path to success:

1. The early bird gets the worm. It only makes sense to arrive at an estate sale as early as possible, as this gives you the chance to scour the inventory before others.

Note: check with the estate sale company in advance to get a clear idea of when the doors will open.

2. Narrow your focus. If you go into an estate sale searching for a variety of items, you may miss out on those that are most important to you. Make a list of what you really want to find, and then focus on these items from the moment you walk through the door.

3. Ask for help. Do you have questions? Are you looking for professional advice? Ask the estate sale team on hand for assistance.
