I chose Four Sales, based on the professionalism of the website and the corporate background of the president. I found the staff equally professional.
We learn more about people and organizations when problems occur than when everything goes perfectly. The sale date needed to be changed. No problem. At the end one large item needed to be disassembled. The president during a weekend used his contacts to bring in a company to do the job. No problem.
Displays were attractive. Total sales and costs were as estimated. No damage to house, which is remarkable considering many people attended the sale and large furniture was carried through hallways. What remained unsold was quickly on a truck headed for donation to charities. House was clean for buyers to move in. Staff think about what they are doing, and brought items to my attention that they thought I would want to keep. I recommend Four Sales to anyone contemplating downsizing. They will explain your options and tell you what to expect.
